I am a happy person, currently in school full time, pursuing my RN degree. I am honest, open-minded, love to meet new people, explore new places, new foods, and music of all sorts. I am very interested in biology and science. The human body, especially the brain, continually amazes me.

I have an insatiable curiousity and will always be a life-long-learner. I like being 40, and feel younger than my chronological age.

I enjoy running, and run 4 to 5 miles, 3-4 days a weekI frequently take one or more of my kids along with me, either running or riding alongside me on a bike. I have just committed to running the half marathon for the Seattle Marathon in Nov., so my milage is increasing.

I love to make people laugh, and have a good sense of humor (not mean spirited). I love to dish it out (good-heartedly), and can take it as well. I appreciate locker room humor, but know how to behave myself so that your mother would never know. Smiles and laughter make life so much better! It makes me happy to improve someone else's day, and I truly appreciate those who make mine better.

What kind of person are you interested in meeting?
I am hoping to find someone with whom I share an easy rapport, common interests, and an undeniable, irrepressible chemistry. Chemistry is Essential.

I like honest, fun people who have brains and aren't afraid to use them. I am attracted to intellectual men who can make, as well as take a joke. An intelligent sense of humor is a turn in both men and women, don't you think? I like men who are able to freely engage in witty banter one moment, and willing to discuss a serious topic in depth the next.

Your ability to communicate effectively through written word will definitely have a positive impact on my perception of you. It is just one of my things. : )

I do not have pets at this time. I love dogs, but can not have one at the house I am renting. I had to give my ex husband my sweet mastiff Bella last year. I miss her very much. In the future though, I will choose a non-shedding breed I can take running with me. :)

While looking at a person’s profile, following the picture, what are the first things you look for?
Like all humans, I find symmetry attractive. I look for someone who has a genuine, happy smiling face. I appreciate sparkling, kind eyes, decent teeth, and healthy skin. I like men who take good care of themselves, but don't go over the top with it. Regular maintenance is important and attractive to me. :)
