I'm also close to her husband and have encouraged and supported their 20-year marriage. I'm the only "outsider" they consider part of their family. We all work well together (they own a horse farm), we laugh a lot, aren't afraid to openly talk about our feelings, and help each other. In all these years of experiencing a lot together we've never been in a heated argument. Sure, we've all had our feelings hurt, or been disappointed at times...but the glue that makes things work for us is also a quick path to resolution.However...one common trait both her husband and I share is a great percentage of time the only way anyone gets to spend time with this remarkable woman is if you're content to ride in her wake.Her agenda and what appears to be a need for non-stop activity, is the primary focus of her life.She's worth what sometimes (to me) seems like a significant sacrifice...but I wouldn't want to be in her husband's shoes. I like to stay active and exercise regularly I am a big fan of music and sport, playing and watching. I'm not adverse to getting my culture fix and am always up for a trip to the theatre / museum, and am always looking for an excuse to get away for the weekend. Sometimes it is just as nice to curl up on the couch in front of the fire with good book or with that special someone! I love a romantic candlelight dinner for two with a bottle of wine.
